God looks at the heart while man looks at the outer appearance. Our obsession with how we come across is drilled into us by our culture. Inevitably we fall short- not just in appearance- but in actually doing the things we know our right. If we all fall short, then what is our hope? There is grace and freedom available to us in Christ if our hearts are open to change.
King Saul is a cautionary tale of how roally we can mess up life if we true to "Rule" our own way. But, David is a reminder that we can bend our knee to God's rule and find true forgiveness and restoration. This week we'll look at 1 Samuel 15-16.
