We want to thrive at those big moments of life. We want to know that we will succeed and can be counted on. But human nature tempts us to apathy in the day-to-day. The good news is, we can condition ourselves to have the character to naturally thrive no matter what comes our way. That character is developed with time with God. We learn how we can Trust Him in all things while He makes more like Jesus. This is why David thrived against Goliath. It's not as much about "stepping up to the occasion" as a natural overflow of knowing God and habitually following Him in all circumstances. David's not the hero of the story... he's a man who's learn to trust God is the hero at all times. And you can too!
