Join us to celebrate the birth of our savior!
We want to slow down and focus on one simple but powerful truth: God’s presence.
At Christmas, we celebrate the incredible reality that God Himself chose to come near — not to the powerful or the impressive, but to normal, everyday people — as Jesus, born as a baby. We’ll reflect on the story of the first Christmas together and consider how that story still speaks into our lives today.
What makes this service a little different — and especially meaningful — is the way we tell that story. Between singing traditional Christmas carols, led by our choir, you’ll hear Scripture read alongside “firsthand accounts” from the people around the Christmas story —a prophet, angels, innkeepers, and everyday townspeople.
Pastor Erik also shares a sermonette on God's presense from scripture after Christmas day... Luke 2:21-38.
