"JESUS: LORD OF ALL"
A beautiful Sunday gathering was celebrated as shared about what God did in our Relationship Getaway on Saturday. Worship was powerful, particularly as we shouted to "Graves into Gardens" and "Way Maker." At the end, we were blessed to hear from our sister, J., who helps us build global partnerships between the people of our neighborhoods and those in the Highlands of Asia! So great!
Elder Dave Taylor brought a beautiful message from Luke 7 concerning "Jesus: Lord of All." Some highlights include:
-Jesus was amazed at the faith of the Centurion who understood how Authority worked.
-We too should humble ourselves in obedience to God.
-We have a moment by moment choice, to demand signs of God or to "trust and obey."
(We then were treated by the Donut Man, Rob Evans' song: "The Centurion's Secret.")
