Guest speaker John Soper brings us a video teaching from the Bible, illustrated by life experience on how we can overcome our fears by trusting in the Lord.
John has an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the King's College (NY) and an M.Div. from the Theological Seminary of the Reformed Episcopal Church. In 2011 he was awarded a Dr. of Divinity degree from Toccoa Falls College. For the last 40 years he has been married to his wife Mimi and they have three children and ten amazing grandchildren living in New York, New Jersey and the Australian Capital Territory.
Since 1973, he has served in the Christian and Missionary Alliance as a Church Planter, Pastor, and adjunct professor at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY. He has been a lecturer at the Alliance Theological College in Canberra Australia and also served as the Field Director for the C&MA in that country. He served for 11 years as the District Superintendent of the Metropolitan District and for an additional five years as the Vice President for Church Ministries of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
He is now "retired," as he mentors leaders, preaches and creates curriculum to help others grow!
