First Time @ Crossroads?

Your First Visit to Crossroads?

We want to make your first visit to Crossroads a good experience so here is some information you may find helpful as you prepare to visit. We worship at 9:00am and 10:30am.

Where does Crossroads meet each week?

Crossroads meets at 445 Oakshade Road in Indian Mills, New Jersey.  We are across the parking lot from La Campagnola Restaurant and just down the block from the Wawa.  The nearest cross-street Indian Mills Road.

What should I wear? What should I bring?

Dress comfortably. While a few people dress up, most people wear comfortable, casual clothes. It doesn’t really matter what you wear, just come and experience the church!  We encourage you to bring a Bible.  Some people bring theirs on their phone, iPad and even the good ole fashioned way.

Can I bring my coffee?

Certainly, the Wawa is right around the corner.  We have coffee and goodies before the service so come early and visit, bring your favorite coffee cup or use one of ours.

What about your children?

During the worship services we have child care available.   The Nursery is for babies to pre-school age children. The nursery is located to the right when you enter the front door. The nursery is staffed by qualified leaders who have undergone background checks.  Of course if you are more comfortable your children can stay with you in the sanctuary for the worship hour.  Do not be surprised if several people including children invite your child to come to Children’s church or the nursery. We want to make sure visitors know about the opportunities available, simply tell them you would like you kids to stay with you for the worship hour.

What is the Children’s Ministry all about?

The children’s ministry at Crossroads is uniquely designed with your child in mind! Every Sunday, all children experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Currently, Crossroads offers a nursery for younger children and an elementary curriculum for the older children. We are currently in the process of developing a Sunday school for the teenagers as well.

If this is your first time at Crossroads, the children are typically dismissed after worship to children’s church. A teacher is typically in the common area to escort the older kids to the children’s ministry room. If you are interested in becoming a teacher or have any questions about the children’s ministry in general, please do not hesitate to email us at We look forward to meeting you and your kids!

What about parking?

There is plenty of parking in front of the building. There are no “assigned” spots but we try to keep the parking right in front open for visitors and parents with small children.  There is additional parking available in the La Campagnola parking lot, convenient for those wanting to hit La Camp’s brunch after service.

What should I expect from the worship?

The music is led by a few vocalists, guitars, bass, drums and at times keyboard or other instruments.  Words to all of the music are projected from a large monitor at the front of the sanctuary.  During the hour a few people will share what God has done in their life that week – maybe an answered prayer or something they are thankful for.  We often use video to help introduce the message of the morning.

What do you talk about in the sermon or message?

The sermon is what some people would call informal, others conversational.   We believe the message should give people hope, something to laugh about, a better understanding of the Bible and God’s principles for life and the desire to know Christ and to live a life pleasing to God.

How Long is the Service?

Worship lasts approximately one hour, sometimes a few minutes shorter or a few minutes longer.  We don’t always start the first song right on time, part of our worship is getting to know each other and visiting with each other so we count that is time well spent too.
