We had another full house in person this past Sunday as we welcomed many returning guests and visitors.
We discussed: "Knowing Jesus"
John the Apostle, aka "Grandpa John," under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, gives the church certainty on how we can know we have a right relationship with Jesus. John had previously recorded Jesus' words about being "friends" with His disciples in His Gospel (John 15:13-15). But is it truly possible to be "friends" with the Almighty? And, if so, how? In John 2:1-6, he expands how:
1. Living free of ongoing sin (v1)
2. Knowing Jesus as Advocate and Propitiation (vv 1-3)
3. Obeying His commands (vv3-5)
4. Walking as He walked. (v6)
